Join Wesgro on a Trade mission to Nigeria from 24 – 28 June 2013. The mission

forms part of Wesgro’s Western African Trade Corridor Programme, and will focus

on exploring Trade and Partnership opportunities in Nigeria in the service sector.


Nigeria represents one of the most exciting markets in Africa, with a population of over 130 million people, its abundant supply of natural resources, well-developed financial, legal, ICT, and transport sectors. It is Africa’s largest oil exporter at over 2 million barrels per day

Nigeria has emerged as a key business destination for SA companies. Western Cape service providers and consulting companies will find ample scope for the export of their services such as ICT and Oil & gas services


Companies in the ICT and Oil & Gas services have the option of applying for EMIA financial support, through the dti Sector Specific Assistance Scheme – SSAS. To qualify for SSAS for this mission, interested companies will need to meet certain criteria such as operate in the ICT or oil & gas sector, be in business for at least 2 years, be able to provide a tax clearance certificate, export licence, colour brochures, and audited financial statements or bank statements.
